How to Submit Your Video

Option 1: Game Highlights (Preferred)

Upload a short highlight video to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or any social media platform where it can be viewed publicly.

N/B: If you have a private Instagram/TikTok account, make it public for review.

Keep your video to about 3–5 minutes.

Be creative with your video—compile your best moves, highlight your offensive and defensive skills, and show what makes your game stand out.

Option 2: Skills Video (If no game footage)

No game highlights? No problem. You can submit a 3–5 minute skills workout video showing your basketball abilities. This helps our coaches evaluate your fundamentals and potential.

What to Include (Skills Video)

  • Ball handling (both hands, control, movement)
  • Shooting (form, mid-range, or 3PT)
  • Finishing (layups, movement)
  • Optional: 1v1 or scrimmage clips

Participant Consent, Liability Waiver & Data Authorization

Informed Consent & Assumption of Risk

I, the parent/legal guardian of the child(ren) named on this form, give permission for my child(ren) to participate in activities organized by Momentum Sports Africa (MSA) and delivered in technical partnership with FORCE 1 AFRICA.

I understand that participation in sports activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, travel-related risks, and other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Kenya, I release and hold harmless Momentum Sports Africa (MSA), FORCE 1 AFRICA, their directors, officers, staff, contractors, coaches, and volunteers, partner schools, facilities, sponsors, and affiliated organizations from any claims arising out of participation in the program, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct as defined under Kenyan law.

No Guarantee of Advancement

I understand that participation in this program does not guarantee: selection into any showcase or pathway program, scholarship offers, school placement, professional or international opportunities. Selection for showcase participation is determined at the sole discretion of FORCE 1 AFRICA's technical staff.

Final decisions regarding scholarships, admissions, team placement, or professional opportunities are made solely by the receiving institutions, showcase organizers, or partner entities.

Travel & Immigration

MSA and FORCE 1 AFRICA are not responsible for visa approvals, immigration decisions, or government-related travel determinations. Any international travel or placement remains subject to the requirements and approvals of the relevant authorities and receiving institutions.

Medical Authorization

In the event of injury or emergency, I authorize MSA staff and designated program representatives to obtain medical treatment for my child as deemed necessary by a licensed medical professional. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact me unless immediate treatment is required.

Data Protection & Information Sharing

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

I consent to athlete information, performance evaluations, photographs, video recordings, and related data being shared between: MSA, FORCE 1 AFRICA, AfriqueU pathway administrators, SEROS Partners, partner schools, academies, scouts, and scholarship institutions for the sole purposes of athlete evaluation, talent identification, showcase consideration, scholarship and placement opportunities, program administration, and safeguarding.

Data will not be sold or shared for unrelated commercial purposes. Where necessary, data may be transferred outside Kenya to relevant partner institutions for these purposes.

Media Consent

I grant MSA and FORCE 1 AFRICA permission to capture and use photographs and video recordings for evaluation, scouting, documentation, and promotional purposes related to the program and associated pathways. The athlete's full name will not be publicly disclosed without additional consent.

Code of Conduct

MSA and FORCE 1 AFRICA reserve the right to remove any participant for misconduct, disciplinary violations, or behavior that compromises safety or program integrity.
